Anushka Sharma has shared a delightful glimpse of her family’s Raksha Bandhan celebration with a heartwarming photo of uniquely designed rakhis. This special occasion marks the first Raksha Bandhan for her daughter Vamika and her baby brother Akaay.
In a recent Instagram Story, Anushka posted a picture of two rakhis crafted in the shape of cars. The rakhis, made of yarn with black buttons as wheels, were captioned with “Happy Raksha Bandhan” alongside red heart emojis. The creative and playful design reflects the joy of celebrating the festival with her children in London, where she and her husband Virat Kohli are currently residing.
This Raksha Bandhan is particularly significant as it is the first for Vamika and her newborn brother Akaay, who was welcomed into the family on February 15, 2024. Earlier in June, Anushka had shared a touching Father’s Day card made by Vamika for Virat Kohli, celebrating his role as a father.
Anushka and Virat, who married in an intimate ceremony in Italy in 2017, have been very private about their children, keeping them away from the media spotlight. Fans are eagerly awaiting Anushka’s return to the silver screen after her 2018 film Zero, in which she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress, will see her portraying renowned cricketer Jhulan Goswami and marks her return to acting after a five-year hiatus.
Anushka’s thoughtful and heartfelt posts continue to captivate her fans, providing a glimpse into her life as a mother and her celebration of cherished family moments.
