The action-packed “Singham” franchise roars to life once more as filming commences for its fifth installment, aptly titled “Singham Again.” The dynamic trio of director Rohit Shetty and lead actors Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh shared their enthusiasm for this remarkable cinematic journey on their respective Instagram handles. However, notable absentee Akshay Kumar sent his best wishes as he currently resides abroad.
In the shared images, Rohit Shetty is seen performing a ritual during the muhurat, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh stand by his side. Another picture features the trio, standing with folded hands, embodying the essence of their Cop Universe.
Rohit Shetty expressed his excitement in his Instagram post, reminiscing about the inception of the Cop Universe 12 years ago with “Singham.” He stated, “Singham, Singham returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi…12 Years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again… the 5th film in our cop franchisee. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI!”
Ajay Devgn, who portrays the iconic Inspector Bajirao Singham, also reflected on the Cop Universe’s incredible journey.
