Abhishek Bachchan Unveils New Film I Want To Talk with Director Shoojit Sircar, Teases with Short Clip

Abhishek Bachchan Announces New Film I Want To Talk with Director Shoojit Sircar, Shares Teaser

It’s an exciting time for Abhishek Bachchan fans as the actor has officially announced his next project, I Want To Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar. Produced by Rising Sun Films, the announcement was made via a short teaser shared by Abhishek on Instagram on Wednesday. The teaser features a bobblehead of the actor in a moving car, while his voiceover reveals a glimpse into the character’s philosophy: “I don’t just love to talk, I live to talk. Zinda hone aur marne mein mujhe bas ek ye hi basic difference dikhta hai. Zinda log bol paate hai, mare huye… bol nahi pate” (The only basic difference I see between being alive and dead is that the living can talk, the dead cannot).

Abhishek captioned the post, “We all know that one person who ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶s̶ lives to talk. Here’s the story of a man who always looks at the brighter side of life, no matter what life throws at him!”

Bollywood Reacts to the Teaser

The announcement drew excitement and praise from the film industry. Sonu Sood commented, “Looks awesome brother.” Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap responded with, “Wow… what a teaser.” Karan Johar added, “One of my favourite filmmakers and my favourite person and incredible actor! Is going to result in magic.” Actress Chitrangada Singh dropped clapping emojis, while Bipasha Basu shared her admiration with a black heart emoji.

Abhishek’s Current Projects

Abhishek Bachchan has been busy shooting for Housefull 5 in Spain, where he recently celebrated co-star Chunky Panday’s birthday with fellow cast members including Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan, and Riteish Deshmukh. Chunky Panday shared pictures from the celebration, captioning them, “A Birthday at Sea. The night of the 26th, guess who cut the cake and fed my Face. #Housefull5.”

The Housefull franchise, known for its comedy, is gearing up for its fifth installment. The original film, which was released in 2010, featured a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, and Riteish Deshmukh. Over the years, the ensemble has expanded, with Abhishek joining in the later sequels. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is set for release in 2025.

With I Want To Talk and his return to the Housefull series, Abhishek Bachchan’s slate is packed with exciting projects, much to the delight of his fans.
