Amidst speculation surrounding the pregnancy rumours involving him and his wife Katrina Kaif, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal addressed the topic with grace at the trailer launch of his upcoming film “Bad Newz.” The event, held in Mumbai, marked the unveiling of a unique romantic comedy starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, directed by Anand Tiwari.
Recently, social media buzzed with reports suggesting that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif might be expecting their first child, spurred on by a video from their time in London. At the trailer launch, Vicky was questioned about these rumours and when the audience could expect confirmation of any “good news” in his personal life.
Responding to the queries, Vicky humorously deflected the speculation, urging everyone to focus on the “Bad Newz” they are bringing forth for now. He quipped, “Abhi ke liye aap bad newz enjoy kar lo, jo hum la rahe hain. Jab uska (good news) time aayega, we won’t be shying away from giving that news.”
The trailer of “Bad Newz” also features a reference to Katrina Kaif, although Vicky revealed that his wife had not seen it at the time of the launch. He shared that he had teased her about being a part of the film, leaving her intrigued.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” explores a unique storyline of heteropaternal superfecundation, where two separate eggs are fertilized in the same menstrual cycle by sperm cells from different men. The film marks a reunion between Tiwari and Vicky Kaushal, following their collaboration on “Love Per Square Foot.”
