Vashu Bhagnani, who co-runs Pooja Entertainment with his son Jackky Bhagnani, has addressed recent rumors about their production banner. The rumors, which surfaced a few days ago, involved allegations of non-payment of dues and the sale of office space following the box office failure of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Several employees took to social media to call out the company, claiming they had not received their dues.
Speaking to The Times of India, Vashu Bhagnani firmly denied these reports. He clarified that the office building in question is being redeveloped and that Pooja Entertainment continues to work with the same team they have had for many years, with no official complaints lodged.
Addressing the non-payment allegations, Vashu Bhagnani said, “I have been in the business for the past 30 years. If there are people who claim that we owe them money, they should come forward and talk to us. Do they have proper contracts with Pooja Entertainment? Have they filed a case regarding this? There are so many ways to sort this rather than ranting on social media. If there is an issue, we will resolve it. Nobody is running away. Please come to my office, talk to us, give us your documents, and give us 60 days to figure things out. I am not going to buckle under any pressure or blackmail.”
He also mentioned that Pooja Entertainment works with production companies in the UK and that any financial disputes should be addressed directly with those entities.
The denial of these rumors and the invitation for open communication indicate Bhagnani’s commitment to resolving any genuine grievances and maintaining the integrity of Pooja Entertainment amidst the swirling rumors.
