The wait is over for fans of Ajith Kumar! The trailer for Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, dropped on Friday and has already created a storm online. The high-voltage action entertainer, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is now slated for a grand worldwide release on April 10, 2025.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), director Adhik Ravichandran unveiled the trailer link, expressing his gratitude to the lead star, Ajith Kumar. His post read, “#GoodBadUglyTrailer is here. Thank you dear sir #AjithKumar sir. @MythriOfficial.”
A Trailer Loaded with Action and Emotion
The trailer opens with a stylish appearance by Arjun Das, who plays the antagonist. Dancing to the popular Tamil folk track Otha Rooba Tharen, he sets the tone for the movie’s intense conflict. His character boldly confronts Ajith’s, declaring, “AK sir, I just pulled out your history and took a look at it. I heard you are a big villain. But in my game, I am your villain.”
The narrative thickens as Trisha’s character accuses Ajith’s of causing her father’s downfall. Ajith then makes a dramatic entry, stating, “I gave up smoking for my sake, I gave up drinking for my wife’s sake, and I gave up violence for my son’s sake. But if my son is at risk, I would have to go back to what I have given up, wouldn’t I?”
True to its title, Good Bad Ugly showcases all shades of Ajith’s character—an emotional family man who can turn lethal when pushed. The trailer ends with his fierce warning: “You will have your nose and eyes. You will have your hands and legs. But you won’t have your life.” He signs off in signature mass style: “Bad boy.”
A Delayed But Worth-the-Wait Release
Although the trailer was initially set to drop at 9:01 PM, fans were left waiting due to technical delays. The production house attributed the postponement to “MASS SAMBAVAM”, citing overwhelming traffic that momentarily crashed the servers. The trailer was eventually released 20 minutes later, much to the delight of eager fans.

Good Bad Ugly marks a high-profile collaboration. The film features music by National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam, and editing by Vijay Velukutty. Stunts are choreographed by industry veterans Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov.
The film also stars Trisha, Arjun Das, Prabhu, Prasanna, and Sunil in pivotal roles. Originally planned as a Pongal 2025 release, the film now aims for a grand April debut, promising “VERA LEVEL ENTERTAINMENT” for fans across the globe.
