Harrdy Sandhu Held by Chandigarh Police for Performing Without Approval; Show Called Off: Report

Harrdy Sandhu Detained by Chandigarh Police for Performing Without Permission; Concert Called Off

Singer-actor Harrdy Sandhu was reportedly detained by the Chandigarh Police on Saturday night over a permission issue before his scheduled performance at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour. According to The Tribune, the singer was taken away from the venue for not having the necessary approvals for his act. Although he was later released, he chose to leave without performing.

Harrdy Sandhu’s Detainment

Harrdy Sandhu was set to headline the after-party segment of the fashion event at the Exhibition Ground in Sector 34, Chandigarh. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez had walked the ramp before his scheduled performance. However, just before he could take the stage, the police intervened and took him to the Sector 34 police station, citing a lack of proper permissions for his act.

Later, the event organizers provided the necessary documents confirming that the fashion show and music performances had approval. Following this, the police released Sandhu. However, reports suggest that the singer was upset with both the authorities and the organizers over the incident and decided to leave Chandigarh without performing. Attendees at the event confirmed that he did not take the stage that night.
