In a video shared by Diljit on X (formerly Twitter), the singer could be seen enthusiastically chanting KKR’s slogan, Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo. He praised the tagline, saying, “It’s a very good mantra that inspires hard work and perseverance. Especially since it’s Shah Rukh Khan sir’s team, we naturally like it because we are his fans.”
Diljit emphasized the importance of giving 100% effort in life, adding, “If you put in all your hard work, there’s no option left but to win.”
Diljit’s Nod to Rabindranath Tagore and Guru Nanak
Diljit also paid tribute to Kolkata’s rich cultural heritage, expressing admiration for Rabindranath Tagore. Sharing an anecdote, he said, “Someone once asked Tagore to write a world anthem since he had written the national anthem. His response was very sweet—he said Guru Nanak Ji had already written it in the 15th century.” Diljit even recited part of Guru Nanak’s writings, urging the audience to explore it as a “world anthem.”
