Actress Mrunal Thakur recently voiced her displeasure regarding a fan’s edited video featuring her in a Diwali celebration. The video showed the actor bursting firecrackers alongside edited clips of other celebrities. Thakur took to social media to criticize the fan’s actions, stating, “Bhai kyu jhooti tassali de raha hain aap apne aap ko? Apko lagta hai aap jo yeh kar rahe hain woh cool hai? Ji nahi,” which translates to, “Brother, why are you giving yourself the wrong impression? Why do you think what you are doing is cool? It is not!”
Her comments, however, were later deleted. Thakur expressed her sadness about the fan’s practice of editing videos with multiple actresses and felt “heartbroken” upon discovering that the fan had done similar edits with others. She shared this sentiment in an Instagram Story, saying, “Guys, please stop? I just made a comment… at first, when I saw the video I was happy that at least I am spending my Diwali with him! But then I opened his page and saw that he has edited his video with each and every actress! My heart was broken! I was so sad!”
Despite her initial discontent, Thakur later acknowledged the fan’s editing skills and encouraged him to channel his creativity into more positive endeavors. She shared, “Hope you edit good films one day! Good Luck Happy Diwali,” reinforcing her message of understanding and support.
Mrunal Thakur is set to appear in several upcoming projects, including the sequel to the action-comedy film Son of Sardaar alongside Ajay Devgn, and a comedy film directed by David Dhawan featuring Varun Dhawan. Additionally, she will star in Pooja Meri Jaan, which also features Huma Qureshi. The actress continues to captivate audiences with her performances and strong presence in the film industry.
