With just weeks to go before the global premiere of the highly anticipated fantasy action film “Kanguva,” the excitement is palpable as the makers ramp up promotional efforts. Directed by Siva and featuring an impressive cast including Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, the film is set to hit theaters on November 14.
Recently, the team released a new song titled “YOLO” (You Only Live Once), which showcases a vibrant, high-energy dance vibe. This latest track contrasts with the film’s earlier release, “Fire,” which featured traditional instrumentation. “YOLO,” composed by Devi Sri Prasad and performed by him alongside Lavita Lobo, is designed to resonate with modern audiences, boasting heavy beats and catchy hook steps that are sure to get fans moving.
In addition to the song release, a new poster was unveiled last month, featuring lead actor Suriya alongside antagonist Bobby Deol. The poster hinted at an epic showdown, with the caption reading, “The battle of pride and glory, for the world to witness. Kanguva’s mighty reign storms screen from 14-11-24.” The film’s release date was strategically shifted from October to avoid clashing with Rajinikanth’s “Vettaiyan.”
Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist Udhiran, expressed his enthusiasm for working with Suriya, stating, “Working with Suriya has always been a dream… He is awesome. He is an amazing actor.” Suriya echoed these sentiments, noting the strong camaraderie they developed during filming, saying, “In the film, we fought, but brotherhood was very much between us. He helped us make the film’s climax bigger and bigger.”
