Actor Emraan Hashmi sustained an injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming spy thriller Goodachari 2 in Hyderabad. The actor, who suffered a deep cut on his neck, is expected to return to Mumbai for treatment on Tuesday, according to business associate Sunny Khanna. As of now, Emraan has not issued an official statement regarding his condition.
Goodachari 2 is the much-anticipated sequel to the Telugu hit Goodachari, and Emraan Hashmi’s involvement has generated significant buzz. He joined the film’s cast in February 2024, sharing his excitement with fans through a social media post that read, “The biggest spy franchise gets a blockbuster addition. Boarding mission #G2. Shoot in progress.”
Speaking about his role, Emraan expressed enthusiasm for the project, saying, “Joining the cast of G2 is truly exciting. The script is compelling, and I look forward to being part of this spy thriller.”
Co-star Adivi Sesh, who headlined the original Goodachari, welcomed Emraan’s addition to the film, stating, “I am thrilled to have Emraan Hashmi on board for G2. His presence will undoubtedly bring a new dimension to the film.”
