In a thrilling birthday treat for fans, Suriya unveiled a new teaser from his upcoming film Suriya 44, celebrating his 49th birthday on July 23. The promo, shared by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, features the actor in a gripping gangster avatar, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
The teaser, released by the makers of Suriya 44, offers a glimpse of Suriya as ‘The One’, surrounded by his army of goons. The one-minute-37-second clip opens with the text “somewhere in the sea” and showcases scenes of goons flanking a location named ‘Royal Estate’. It quickly transitions to intense visuals of Suriya, who sports a bloodied face, smokes a cigarette, and wields a gun against a gritty outdoor backdrop.
Karthik Subbaraj took to Twitter to share the promo, writing, “Happy Birthday @Suriya_offl sir. From Team Suriya 44,” and included the hashtags ‘HappyBirthdaySuriya’ and ‘HBDTheOneSuriya’. The teaser concludes with the message, “A love, a laughter, a war… awaits for… The One,” followed by a dramatic silhouette of Suriya.
