Zeeshan Siddique recently opened up about the impact of Baba Siddique’s tragic death on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, stating that the actor has been having difficulty sleeping since the incident. This revelation comes in light of the increased security concerns surrounding Salman following the murder of Siddique, a prominent NCP leader.
In an interview with BBC Hindi, Zeeshan shared how Salman has always been supportive of him and his family, especially during this challenging time. “Salman Bhai has been very upset about this situation. He and my father were as close as real brothers. Since my father’s passing, he has provided immense support, constantly checking on me. He can’t sleep properly at night; he talks to me about all these things,” Zeeshan stated.
The friendship between Baba Siddique and Salman Khan has been well-known in Bollywood circles, with Salman frequently attending the late politician’s extravagant Iftaar parties. Baba Siddique was fatally shot on October 12 outside his office in Bandra, Mumbai, leading to questions regarding the safety of Salman and his family, especially after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the murder. Two shooters have been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
Zeeshan also expressed that he doesn’t view celebrities as merely famous figures but rather as family members due to the close ties they shared with his father. He emphasized, “I have never considered my father’s friends to be celebrities. If someone frequently visits your home and is close to your family, they are as significant as family members.”
In terms of his career, Salman Khan is currently busy with upcoming projects. While rumors suggest he might make a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again,” there has been speculation regarding his participation due to security issues. Nonetheless, Akshay Kumar recently reignited excitement about the cameo in an Instagram post that mentioned Chulbul. Additionally, Salman is filming for AR Murugadoss’s “Sikandar,” produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
