The trailer for the action-thriller Yudhra has been released, promising a high-octane cinematic experience. The film, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, and Raghav Juyal, is set to hit theaters on September 20.
The trailer opens with a dramatic voice-over, stating, “Abhimanyu knew how to enter the Chakravyuh but never learned how to escape,” setting the tone for the film’s intense and gritty narrative. Siddhant Chaturvedi, in the title role of Yudhra, is depicted engaging in a series of extreme actions, including putting his hand in a scalding iron and smearing hot coal on his face. His character’s audacity extends to using a sewing machine in a brutal confrontation, showcasing his unconventional heroism.
The trailer takes a dramatic turn as the voice-over reveals, “You thought I was Abhimanyu, but I am his father, Arjun.” This revelation introduces the emotional core of the film, highlighting Yudhra’s struggle with anger issues and the loss of his father, a police officer who died in a car accident.
Malavika Mohanan plays Yudhra’s girlfriend, who tries to calm his rage and provide emotional support. The stakes are raised further with Ram Kapoor’s character urging Yudhra to fulfill his father’s mission of taking down a ruthless drug lord. Raghav Juyal makes a notable appearance as a formidable villain, adding to the film’s suspense with his precise and menacing demeanor.
The cast also includes Gajraj Rao, Raj Arjun, and Shilpa Shukla in key roles. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Sudha Anukta, Yudhra is Siddhant Chaturvedi’s fourth project with Excel Entertainment, following Inside Edge, Gully Boy, and Phone Booth. The actor’s recent appearance in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan showcased his versatility alongside Ananya Panday and Gourav Adarsh.
