"Yodha Box Office Collection Day 8: Sidharth Malhotra Film Sees Decline, Earns ₹90 Lakh in India"

The box office performance of the action-packed film “Yodha,” starring Sidharth Malhotra, witnessed a dip on its eighth day, with earnings dropping to just ₹90 lakh in India.

Directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, “Yodha” had initially shown promising results at the box office throughout its first week. However, on its second Friday, the film experienced a notable decrease in revenue, collecting less than ₹1 crore in India, according to reports from Sacnilk.com.

The film’s week one collection amounted to ₹25.25 crore, but the drop in earnings on the eighth day brought its total India earnings to ₹26.15 crore, based on early estimates.

“Yodha” features a star-studded cast including Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. The high-octane action thriller revolves around Arun Katyal, the commanding officer of the Yodha Task Force, embarking on a thrilling rescue operation. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the film has garnered attention for its intense action sequences and gripping storyline.

Despite its box office success, “Yodha” has faced mixed reviews from critics. The Hindustan Times review criticized the film’s approach to the Kashmir issue and terrorism, stating that it offered nothing new and lacked depth in its storytelling.

Raashii Khanna, one of the film’s stars, expressed gratitude to fans for their positive response to “Yodha.” She shared stills from the film on Instagram and thanked viewers for embracing her character, Priyamvada Katyal, in the cinematic experience.

In an Instagram Live session, Raashii Khanna also shared her excitement about fulfilling her dream of being a part of a Dharma Productions film. Despite some critiques, “Yodha” continues to attract audiences and maintain its presence in theaters, with an upcoming streaming release on Prime Video India after its theatrical run.
