'The GOAT' Box Office Collection Day 10: Vijay's Film Sees Surge Over Second Weekend, Nears ₹200 Crore Mark

Vijay-starrer The GOAT continues its box office success, witnessing growth over the second weekend. After a dip in collections, the film bounced back on day 10, earning an estimated ₹13 crore across all languages, bringing its total earnings to ₹197.75 crore. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT is close to entering the prestigious ₹200 crore club.

Week 1 Collections

The GOAT earned ₹178 crore in its first week, with ₹156.4 crore from the Tamil version, ₹11.3 crore from Hindi, and ₹10.3 crore from Telugu. Day 9 saw the film bringing in ₹6.75 crore, but a substantial boost on day 10 helped it regain momentum, thanks to its 56.74% Tamil occupancy on Saturday.

Venkat Prabhu’s Direction and Vijay’s Performance

Director Venkat Prabhu has been praised for crafting a story that combines action, family sentiment, humor, and twists, giving Thalapathy Vijay a role different from his previous outings. Vijay plays dual roles—a father and son—adding depth to the narrative. The film also features several tributes, including nods to the late singer SPB and Vijay’s past movies.

Cast and Crew

Produced by AGS Entertainment, The GOAT boasts a stellar cast, including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, and more. The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni.
