Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, has seen a steady dip at the box office on its fifth day, Tuesday. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film earned ₹2.15 crore on Day 5, bringing its total India box office collection to ₹23.35 crore.
The Raaj Shaandilyaa-directed film, which was released on October 11, clashed with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. Despite its competition, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video managed to collect ₹5.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹6.9 crore on Day 2, ₹6.4 crore on Day 3, and ₹2.4 crore on Day 4. The film recorded an 11.07% overall Hindi occupancy on Tuesday.
Produced by T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films, and Kathavachak Films, the film follows Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and Vidya (Triptii Dimri) as they embark on a hilarious journey to recover their missing “suhagraat CD” in Rishikesh. The family-oriented comedy includes a colorful cast of characters, including Vijay Raaz, Mast Ali, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Archana Patel, Rakesh Bedi, Tiku Talsania, and Ashwini Kalsekar. The couple, with help from Mallika Sherawat’s character Chanda Rani, tries every trick in the book—appealing to police and family elders, and even sneaking into graveyards at night.
