After smashing box office records, the Malayalam blockbuster Thudarum is all set to make its digital debut. Directed by Tharun Moorthy and starring superstar Mohanlal alongside Sobhana, the crime thriller will be available for streaming on JioHotstar starting May 30.
Thudarum made history by becoming the first Malayalam film to gross ₹100 crore in Kerala alone. It went on to amass an impressive ₹231 crore worldwide, making it the third-highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time and the highest-grosser in its home state. Mohanlal celebrated the milestone earlier this month on Instagram, thanking fans for helping the film enter the record books.
The film will be streamed not only in its original Malayalam but also dubbed in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada, allowing a wider audience to experience the gripping tale.

Produced by M Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media, Thudarum is a crime thriller that tells the story of Shanmugham ‘Benz’ — a simple taxi driver whose life turns upside down when his beloved car goes missing. Forced to confront unexpected challenges, Shanmugham taps into a hidden strength to protect what matters most to him.
Alongside Mohanlal and Sobhana, the film features notable performances from Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, and others. Since its theatrical release on April 25, the film has received strong reviews and drawn comparisons to Mohanlal’s earlier hit Drishyam (2013), another critically acclaimed crime thriller.
