Actor Sobhita Dhulipala proved once again that she is Naga Chaitanya’s biggest supporter. On the release day of Thandel, she gave a heartfelt shoutout to her husband’s latest film, showcasing her unwavering encouragement.
Taking to Instagram, Naga Chaitanya shared a picture of Sobhita wearing a black hoodie featuring the film’s title, Thandel, printed in red along with the iconic ship from the movie’s poster. Expressing his gratitude for her support, Chaitanya captioned the post, “Giving me all the positive vibes I need!”
On the eve of the release, Sobhita also shared a special note on Instagram Stories. Posting a picture of Chaitanya, she wrote, “#Thandel release day tomorrow! I’ve seen you so focused and positive throughout the making of this film, and I can’t wait for everyone (and myself) to experience this extraordinary love story in theatres from tomorrow.” She also playfully teased her husband in Telugu, expressing her excitement about him finally shaving his beard.
Meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi
In another significant moment, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, along with Chaitanya’s parents, veteran actors Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament House. The family presented PM Modi with the book Akkineni Ka Virat Vyaktitva, written by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad. The book is a tribute to legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna’s father.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala tied the knot on December 4 last year in a grand wedding ceremony held in Hyderabad at Annapurna Studios. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional Telugu Brahmin ceremony, surrounded by close family and friends.
Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, shared a heartfelt message along with wedding pictures on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita—you’ve already brought so much happiness into our lives.”
He further added, “This celebration holds even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of ANR garu’s statue, installed to mark his centenary year. It feels as though his love and guidance are present with us at every step of this journey.”
