In a resounding success, Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial venture “Dunki,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal, has made a substantial mark on the global box office, amassing a staggering ₹458.69 crores worldwide in its 24-day run. According to Sacnilk.com, “Dunki” witnessed an impressive performance in India, contributing ₹223.22 crores to its worldwide total. Red Chillies Entertainment celebrated the film’s success on their Instagram account, expressing gratitude for the growing love at the box office and emphasizing that the film continues to win hearts “qayamat tak” (till eternity).
Breaking down the box office numbers, Sacnilk.com reported that “Dunki” collected ₹160.22 crores net in its first week, followed by ₹46.25 crores in the second week and ₹15.4 crores in the third week. The film maintained its momentum with ₹0.55 crores on day 23 and ₹0.8 crores on day 24 in India, bringing the gross collection in the country to ₹267.50 crores. Despite fluctuations, the film exhibited an overall occupancy of 21.18% on Saturday.
