Ranveer Allahbadia Breaks Instagram Hiatus After India’s Got Latent Controversy, Talks About "Storm"

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, has returned to Instagram over a month after facing backlash for his controversial remarks on the India’s Got Latent show. In his latest post, Ranveer shared a series of pictures with his team, family, and pet, hinting at a fresh start.

Ranveer’s First Post After Controversy

Breaking his social media silence, Ranveer posted a heartfelt message alongside photos of himself working on his laptop, posing with his grandmother, and spending time with his pet dog. He captioned the post, “Thank you to my loved ones ❤️. Thank you, universe 🙏. A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…”

In his Instagram Stories, he further expressed gratitude for his supporters, writing, “Healing because of you all 💔. Be with us tomorrow.” He also acknowledged his team’s support during the controversy, saying, “Grateful to every single teammate. Even in this storm, each one stood by. Real ‘treasure’.”

The Controversy and Legal Action

Ranveer Allahbadia faced severe backlash after making inappropriate remarks about women on India’s Got Latent, a YouTube reality show hosted by comedian Samay Raina. His comments, which were meant as jokes, sparked outrage, leading to multiple FIRs against him.

Following the uproar, Ranveer submitted a written apology to the National Commission for Women (NCW). While the Supreme Court granted him interim protection from arrest, it criticized his statements, calling them “vulgar” and stating that he had a “dirty mind that shamed society.”

Ranveer’s Public Apology

Amid the backlash, Ranveer also addressed his audience in an apology video on X (formerly Twitter). Admitting his mistake, he acknowledged that his comments were inappropriate and not humorous.

With over 600,000 followers on X, 4.5 million on Instagram, and 10.5 million YouTube subscribers, Ranveer’s return to social media signals his attempt to move past the controversy and rebuild his image.
