Following his election as the Jana Sena Party’s floor leader in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan received a heartwarming welcome at home, where his wife Anna Lezhneva, a former model-actress from Russia, performed a traditional Hindu ritual that quickly became a viral sensation on social media.
Pawan Kalyan, recently appointed as a deputy chief minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s government in Andhra Pradesh, returned home to jubilant celebrations. His wife’s gesture, captured in a video, showed her applying a tika on his forehead and performing aarti, marking the auspicious occasion.
The video garnered widespread attention, with fans and well-wishers commending Anna Lezhneva’s adaptation to Indian culture. One social media user expressed their admiration, stating, “Best wishes to Mrs. Kalyan. Great adaptation to Indian culture, Ma’am.”
Anna Lezhneva’s journey with Pawan Kalyan began in 2011 during the filming of the movie Teen Maar, leading to their marriage in September 2013. Their relationship, however, has faced scrutiny over the years due to Pawan Kalyan’s previous marriages. He was previously married to Nandini in 1997 and later to actress Renu Desai in 2009.
Pawan Kalyan’s political ascendancy was marked by his swearing-in as a minister in the Andhra Pradesh government, attended by prominent leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah and JP Nadda, among others.
The BJP-TDP-Jana Sena alliance’s decisive victory in Andhra Pradesh further solidifies Pawan Kalyan’s role in state politics, with the alliance securing a significant majority in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Pawan Kalyan’s personal and political journey continues to captivate audiences, blending elements of traditional values and contemporary leadership in the realm of Indian politics.
