Kajol, currently enjoying the success of her latest film Do Patti, recently shared a humorous side of her family life on The Great Indian Kapil Show. Alongside her Do Patti co-stars Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Shaikh, Kajol opened up about her unique relationship with her children, Nysa and Yug, particularly how they view her sense of humor and social media posts.
In a light-hearted conversation, Kajol revealed that her kids struggle to relate to her humor, especially her posts on Instagram. “I think I’ve accepted that my kids will never get my sense of humor,” she laughed, recounting how Nysa had once told her, “I just don’t get it. I don’t understand what you’re putting up on Instagram.” Unbothered by their reactions, Kajol responded with, “Okay, then I’ll put up whatever I want!” This playful take on her generational gap with her children had the audience laughing, while Archana Puran Singh and Kriti Sanon complimented her for her witty captions.
Kajol often shares glimpses of her life with her children on Instagram. Recently, on Raksha Bandhan, she posted a heartwarming picture of Nysa and Yug with a caption promoting values of safety and respect. “Raksha करने वालों आज तुम्हारा दिन है. May all the protectors today understand that this is what makes you a man…let’s teach our sons to be better,” she wrote, highlighting her parenting values.
Do Patti, streaming on Netflix, features Kajol in the role of a determined police officer. The film has garnered positive reviews since its release last week. Fans can look forward to more of Kajol’s performances, as she’s set to venture into horror with the film Maa, and will reunite with Prabhu Deva in Maharagni—Queen of Queens, marking their collaboration after 27 years.
