The excitement surrounding the upcoming film Kanguva continues to escalate as the makers have unveiled a captivating new song titled “Naayak.” Directed by Siva, this action fantasy film features a stellar cast, including Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, and is set to hit theaters on November 14.
The song “Naayak” opens with striking visuals of a stormy sky and heavy rainfall. A jagged rock, with a gleaming sword embedded in it, sets the stage for Suriya’s grand entrance. As he emerges drenched in rain, the actor climbs the rock, pulls the sword from its resting place, and raises it triumphantly, embodying the spirit of a true hero. Just as he dons a menacing animal mask, a thunderstorm rumbles in the background, adding to the dramatic flair.
As the lyrical video unfolds, viewers are treated to glimpses of Suriya in an intense avatar, showcasing his tattoos and wild, unruly hair. The visuals depict him with an eagle, symbolizing his character’s sharp vision and unwavering determination. One striking scene features Suriya galloping on a horse, leading into action-packed sequences that hint at the film’s thrilling plot.
The song is penned by Raqueeb Alam and features a collaborative effort from a diverse group of singers. The Hindi version includes vocals from Aravind Srinivas, Shenbagaraj, Deepak Blue, Narayanan Ravishankar, Prasanna Adhisesha, Shibi Srinivasan, Vikram Pitty, Saisharan, and Abhijith Rao. Female singers Padmaja Sreenivasan, Pavithra Chari, Deepthi Suresh, Aparna Harikumar, Lavita Lobo, Sushmita Narasimhan, and Latha Krishna also lend their voices to the track.
On July 23, to celebrate Suriya’s 49th birthday, the first song from Kanguva, titled “Fire,” was released, showcasing Suriya in a never-before-seen look featuring dreadlocks. The song offers a glimpse into a dystopian world shrouded in darkness, with Suriya’s character standing as a beacon of hope, poised to lead his people toward a brighter future.
With each new update, Kanguva continues to build anticipation among fans, promising a cinematic experience filled with action, emotion, and a captivating storyline.
