Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan is all set to take on an exciting new role as a singer in her upcoming film Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling. The makers of the film have shared a sneak peek from the sets, giving fans a first look at Bachchan’s never-before-seen look in the movie.
The pictures, posted on Instagram, show Bachchan in a completely different avatar, hinting at her character’s musical side. Alongside Bachchan, actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi are seen striking a cool pose in the background, adding to the charm of the set. The official Instagram post from the team reads: “Unlocking Love and Laughter, Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling hitting screens in 2025! Are you ready to turn the key?”
The film, directed by Vikas Bahl, is being shot in Goa and is expected to hit the big screens in 2025. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Harman Baweja, Rohandeep Singh, Viraj Sawant, and Ramesh Pulapaka, Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling is a collaboration between Tips Films Ltd, Baweja Studios Ltd, and Jumping Tomato Studios. The movie will also feature Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
Jaya Bachchan’s last big screen appearance was in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, where she portrayed the role of grandmother Dhanlakshmi Randhawa. The film, which featured a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi, was a massive success.
Siddhant Chaturvedi, known for his breakout role in Gully Boy, was last seen in the film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav. Meanwhile, Wamiqa Gabbi will soon appear in Baby John alongside Varun Dhawan, marking their first collaboration. Gabbi, who is making waves in the industry, will also share the screen with Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in the film backed by Atlee.
