Actor Jasmine Bhasin made her first public appearance since suffering from cornea damage caused by contact lenses, which she wore for an event. The incident occurred earlier this month, prompting Jasmine to seek medical attention and temporarily step away from the public eye.
On Wednesday morning, Jasmine was spotted at Mumbai airport, where a paparazzo captured her appearance on Instagram. In the video, Jasmine was seen exiting her car wearing a stylish pink and blue coord set, paired with slip-ons and dark sunglasses. She flashed a thumbs-up sign and smiled when asked about her condition, although she requested the paparazzi not to use flash photography to avoid straining her eyes further.
In a brief moment, Jasmine removed her sunglasses, offering a glimpse of her eyes before heading into the terminal building. When a photographer advised her to take care, she responded with, “Aap pray karte rahiye” (Keep me in your prayers).
Jasmine’s Recent Health Update
Jasmine had previously updated her fans about her health on Instagram, sharing a picture of herself wearing large sunglasses with the caption, “Better now, recovering. Thank you for your love and blessings.”
In an interview with the Times of India, Jasmine recounted the incident that led to her cornea damage. She explained that the issue began on July 17 when she wore contact lenses for an event in Delhi. Despite experiencing severe pain, she chose to attend the event before seeking medical help. Later that night, an eye specialist confirmed that her corneas were damaged and bandaged her eyes. Jasmine then returned to Mumbai for continued treatment and reported experiencing significant pain, which made it difficult for her to see and sleep. Fortunately, she did not have to postpone any work commitments.
