“Hina Khan Undergoes Breast Cancer Surgery, Reveals Ongoing Pain and Heartfelt Note from Hospital Staff”

Hina Khan Undergoes Breast Cancer Surgery, Shares Heartfelt Note from Hospital Staff

Television actor Hina Khan, recently diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, has undergone surgery and is currently recovering. The actress shared updates on her condition and experiences through Instagram Stories, where she posted several pictures from her hospital bed and a handwritten note from the hospital staff.

Hina Khan, known for her roles in popular television shows, revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in June and has been keeping her fans informed about her treatment journey. In her latest Instagram Story, she shared a glimpse of herself lying on a hospital bed next to a window, accompanied by the caption, “Just another day dua (pray) (palms up together emoji).”

In a heartfelt note, Hina expressed the constant pain she endures, writing, “Being constantly in pain. Yes, constantly. Every single second. The person is smiling? Still in pain. The person doesn’t mention it? Still in pain. The person says, ‘I’m fine’. Still in pain (mending heart emoji).”

Hina also posted a touching note from the housekeeping staff at Kokilaben Hospital. The note read, “Dear Hina Khan. I know this surgery has been hard for you, but I am so glad you are on the way to making a full recovery… (heart symbol). Wishing you a quick and full recovery. Hope you feel better very soon. Get well soon.” Hina captioned the post, “Love and more love (red heart emoji). This keeps me going.. From housekeeping department @kokilabenhospital (folded hands emoji).”

Despite her health challenges, Hina is determined to balance her work and treatment. She shared a video of herself preparing for her first work assignment post-diagnosis, wearing a wig for the occasion. In the video caption, she wrote, “My first work assignment after my diagnosis.. Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay… you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and NORMALISE it.”

Hina emphasized the importance of normalizing work if one has the strength and energy. She encouraged others battling the disease to remember that it’s their story and their life, urging them to find and pursue their passions. “Your work, your passion—if you don’t know what it is, invent it. But remember to give yourself the healing you deserve. Coz doing what you love is also Healing.”
