The recently released film “Crew,” starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, has been making waves at the box office, both globally and domestically. As per producer Ekta Kapoor, the film has crossed the ₹70 crore mark in worldwide gross box office collections on its fourth day of release. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, “Crew” hit theaters on March 29 and is steadily approaching the coveted ₹100 crore club.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news, Ekta Kapoor posted a poster of the film with the caption “Cruising smoothly Day 4 cumulative worldwide GBOC 70.73 crore.” She added, “Cruising along smoothly! Sit tight, and enjoy the ride!” This achievement comes after the film grossed ₹20.07 crore worldwide on its opening day.
“Crew” revolves around the story of three women working in the airline industry and is described as a laugh-riot set against the backdrop of the struggling aviation sector. Despite their initial plans to earn money and raise their glam quotient, the trio finds themselves entangled in a web of lies and unexpected situations.
Apart from Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, the film also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in key roles. Supporting actors include Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Produced by Rhea Kapoor and Anil Kapoor under Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network, along with Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures, “Crew” promises to be a delightful heist comedy with a stellar cast.
