BiInside Bigg Boss 18: Discover the Cave-Themed Kitchen, Majestic Fort Bedroom, and Secret Hidden Passages

As the much-anticipated Bigg Boss 18 gears up for its premiere on October 6, the first look of the house has created a buzz across social media. This season, hosted once again by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, will embrace the intriguing theme of “Time ka Taandav” with the design showcasing the past, present, and future through its unique décor and layout. The house draws inspiration from ancient caves and forts, boasting earthy tones, intricate sculptures, and hidden surprises that promise to challenge the contestants from the very start.

The house’s design is a breathtaking tribute to Indian heritage. The kitchen stands out with its cave-like atmosphere, evoking a sense of raw and primal living, while the bedroom mirrors the grandeur of a regal fort, complete with lavish detailing. A distinctive Turkish hammam-inspired bathroom, featuring a striking Trojan horse sculpture, offers contestants a new perspective of the house and adds to the grandeur of this season’s theme.

The garden area is another stunning feature, with its grand pillars and a pathway leading to the house’s entrance, offering a glimpse into the theme’s immersive nature. The living room is a blend of urban sophistication and earthy charm, centered around a large dining table where much of the house’s drama is expected to unfold. Adding to the intrigue, the house is filled with secret entrances, hidden doors, and cleverly placed cameras, ensuring that no move goes unnoticed.

Art director Omung Kumar revealed in an interview with Indian Express that the house’s Indian theme was a deliberate choice, and the creative team worked hard to incorporate multiple levels and layers into the design. “We wanted to tap into India’s beauty, which hasn’t been done in a long time. The entrance is a tribute to the pre-historic era, with the whole house designed to evoke the claustrophobia of a cave. The muted colors might feel subdued at first, but they will overwhelm contestants as time progresses,” said Kumar.

The set, which took 45 days and nearly 200 workers to build, aims to create a sense of mystery and unease. Contestants will initially struggle to navigate the confusing layout, especially with the hidden elements and levels built into the design. This year’s jail area, another notable feature, adds a dramatic twist, enhancing the house’s fort-like atmosphere.

As Bigg Boss 18 prepares to bring its contestants into this captivating world, fans can expect a visual feast and a house filled with secrets, perfect for a season that’s all about the passage of time and the challenges that come with it.
