Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, and the ensemble cast of the horror-comedy shared the exciting news on their social media platforms. While an exact release date remains under wraps, it is anticipated that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will premiere during the first weekend of November, directly competing with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. This impending clash has been the subject of heated discussions, with rumors circulating that the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had reached out to their counterparts of Singham Again in hopes of rescheduling the latter’s release. There were also indications that the team behind Singham Again might consider a delay, influenced by the remarkable success of Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
Despite the inherent risks of releasing alongside another major film, both projects are led by teams who are confident in their respective offerings. Anees Bazmee, the director of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared his perspective in a recent interview, stating, “It’s a business decision between producers, and I am just the director. Clashes are never a good idea. I know that we had announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s release date a year in advance, but what can we do? A good film doesn’t need a date to work.”
Meanwhile, insiders have confirmed that Singham Again is also steadfast in its commitment to a Diwali release, with plans for a trailer launch expected on October 2 or 3.
