In a recent promotional event for her Netflix film CTRL, Ananya Panday shared a humorous yet revealing story about her childhood interactions with Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan.
The actress, known for her roles in Bollywood films and her latest thriller CTRL, recounted how Aryan would jokingly bully her and her close friends, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor, during their childhood. During a video shared by Netflix India, Ananya detailed a playful incident where Aryan threatened to leak her personal vlogs as a form of “blackmail.”
“I used to record what I do in a day and what I eat in a day, but I never posted them anywhere. PhotoBooth had just come out on Apple, and me, Suhana, and Shanaya would record stuff, and Aryan used to threaten us that he would leak those videos if we didn’t do work for him,” Ananya recalled with a laugh.
The actress noted that she and Aryan, along with Suhana and Shanaya, grew up together, and such interactions were merely a part of their childhood fun. She referred to the incident as her “random trauma story,” prompting comedian Tanmay Bhat, who was part of the discussion, to humorously suggest that “somebody needs to have a word with Aryan.”
Ananya’s Accidental Leak of Suhana Khan’s Number
Ananya also touched upon her own blunder involving a leak, where she mistakenly shared Suhana’s phone number on social media. She recounted how she had FaceTimed Suhana, screenshotted a picture, and accidentally included Suhana’s number in an Instagram post. “Then she (Suhana) called me, ‘Listen, my number got hacked,’ and I said, ‘Oh my God. What happened Suhana? That’s such a crazy story’. But then someone told her that I did it,” she explained, showcasing the playful banter and camaraderie among the friends.
