This marks the biggest opening day of Ajith’s career, rewriting his personal box office records and reaffirming his mass appeal.
After a brief hiatus from frequent film appearances, Ajith’s return has been met with a roaring reception across domestic and international markets. The film is said to have grossed approximately ₹28.50 crore net in India on its opening day, according to industry trackers like Sacnilk.
In the overseas market, Good Bad Ugly also showed strong performance. The UK box office alone contributed over ₹1 crore (£100K) to the film’s earnings. Trade analysts estimate that the film earned between ₹18-20 crore overseas, bringing the global day one total to a staggering ₹50-51 crore.
